fible. It is likewife proper to intermix gentle Purges, to prevent a Relapse : 827. Or, apply a Poultis of Wormwood fried with Hog's-lard. 828. Or, of boiled Nettles. 231.Todiffolve white or hard Swellings. 829. Take white Rofes, Elder Flowers, Leaves of Fox-glove, and of St. John's Wort, a Handful of each Mix with Hog's-lard, and make an Ointment : 830. Or, a green Cole-wort Leaf, having the Veins bruifed with the Haft ofa Knife. Renew it twice a Day. 831. Or, hold them Morning and Evening in the Steam of Vinegar poured on red hot Flints. 232.
