The Gout in any Limb. 439. Rub the Part with warm Treacle, and then bind on a Flannel fmear'd therewith. Repeat this, ifNeed be, once in twelve Hours. This has cured an inveterate Gout in 36 Hours. 440. Or, Regard not them who fay, The Gout ought not to be cured. They mean, It annot. Iknow it cannot by their regular Prefcrip tions. But I have known it cured in many Cafes, without any ill Effects following.
