52. Coftivenes 233. Rife early every Morning : 234. Or, boil in a Pint and half of Broth, half a Handful ofMallow - leaves chopt : Strain this and drink it before you eat any Thing else . Do this frequently, if needful : 235. Or , breakfaft twice a Week, or oftner, on Water gruel with Currants. Tried . 236. Or , take the Bignefs of a large Nutmeg of Cream ofTartar, mixt with Honey, as often as you need. 237. Or, take daily two Hours before Dinner a fmall Tea-cup offlewed Prunes, and a Glafs of Wine and Water before and after it : 238. Or, boil an Ounce and a half of Tamarinds in three Pints of Water to a Quart . In this ftrained, when cold , infufe all Night two Drams of Sena and one Dram of red Rofe Leaves. Drink a Cup every Morning. See. Dr. Tissot. 53. A Cough. 239. Every Cough is a dry Cough at first . As long as it continues fo, it may be cured by chewing immediately after you cough, the Quantity of a Pepper- corn of Peruvian-Bark. Swallow your Spittle as long as it is bitter, and then spit out the Wood. If you cough again, do this again. It very feldom fails to cure any dry Cough. I earnestly advife every one who has any regard for his Health to try this within 24 Hours, after he firft perceives a Cough., 240. Or,
