Or, of three-leav'd Grafs. It commonly cures in feven Days. 355. Or, diffolve a little Sal Ammoniac in Rofe-water. Keep this three Days in a Copper Veffel. Drop it twice a Day into the Eye. 91. White Specks in the Eye. 356. Going to Bed, put a little Ear-wax on the Speck. This has cured many. 357. Or, a Drop of the Juice of Fennel : 358. Or, ofIvy-juice : Afterwards blow in a little powder'd Loaffugar. 92. An excellent Eye-Water. 359. Heat half an Ounce of Lapis Calaminaris red hot, and quench it in half a Pint of French white Wine, This Diforder in the inner Corner of the Eye, caufes the Tearsto flow involuntarily. Wine, and as much white Rofe -water: Then pound it small and infufe it. Shake the Bottle when you use it. It cures Soreness, Weakness, and most Diseases of the Eye. I have known it cure total Blindness. 93. Another. 360. Infufe in Lime-water a dram of Sal Ammoniac powder'd, for twelve Hours ; then ftrain and keep it for Ufe. This alfo cures moft Disorders in the Eyes. 94. Another. 361. Boil verylightly one Spoonful of white Copperas fcrap'd, and three Spoonfuls of white Salt, in three Pints of Spring Water. When cold , bottle it in large Vials without ftraining. Take up the Vial foftly, and put a Drop or two in the Eye Morning and Evening. It anfwers the Intention ofalmost all the preceding Medicines : It takes away Redness, or any Soreness whatever : It cures Pearls, Rheums, and often Blindness itself. 95. Another. 362.
