O thou mild, pacific Prince ; Give the knowledge of salvation, Give the pardon of our sins : By thy all -restoring merit, Every burden'd soul release ; Every weary, wandering spirit Guide into thy perfect peace. Sufferings, fyc, of Christ. DOiJ " Immanuel, God with us" 1 r^ LORY be to God on high, ^J And peace on earth descend ; God comes down, he bows the sky, And shows himself our Friend : God the' Invisible appears !
