To Thomas Rutherford Date: LONDON, December 24, 1789. DEAR TOMMY, I thank you for your account of Jane Newland, which I trust will be of use to many. A short extract from it I shall probably send you in a day or two. A larger will be inserted in the Magazine. There is no great probability that her brother will be so foolish as to print anything on the occasion. I am, with love to Sister Rutherford, dear Tommy, Your affectionate friend and brother.
