To Thomas Taylor Date: WITNEY, October 28, 1789. DEAR TOMMY, If I remember right, all our brethren at the Conference as well as myself approved of the proposals concerning the first and second editions of your tract. So I see no difficulty in the matter. I do not think any one envies you no, not John Poole himself. But you must write with better ink if you would have any one read. Peace be with you and yours! I am, dear Tommy, Your affectionate friend and brother. Let you and I use our eyes while we may.
