To David Gordon Date: BATH, February 29, 1788. MY DEAR BROTHER, I am glad to find that matters are not so bad as they were represented, as to preaching in the morning and meeting the leaders. I hope there has been no blame, and I trust you have not willingly neglected your circuit. It would be worth while to talk at large with that young man who neglects the Lord's Supper. But if he obstinately persists in that neglect, you can't give him any more tickets for our Society. Be exact in all things. I am, dear David, Your affectionate friend and brother.
