To Mrs. Taylor Date: THORNE, May 14, 1782. MY DEAR SISTER, I will certainly rather encourage than discourage the sale of Mr. Taylor's Concordance. A Concordance to the Holy Scriptures. Thomas Taylor was a diligent student of Greek and Hebrew and a busy writer. York was a quiet circuit then. See Wesley's Veterans, vii. 64-5, 70. And I have no objection to recommend it as far as I can upon a slight perusal; but I have by no means time to read it over. I hope to be at York about the middle of June, but I cannot fix the day yet. Peace be with you and yours! I am Your affectionate brother.
